I desperately need someone who is scientist to describe why God is
important? And how I can
"hear" this God?
Response: God is (by definition) the Ultimate Creator and we
have good reason to believe that God is the Loving Ultimate Creator.
If the Loving Ultimate Creator is not
"important" it's hard to know what could be "important" -
especially since God's love extends to you and me and those that we love and
care about.
Hearing God is not straightforward. After all even
"hearing" the Big Bang requires highly sophisticated equipment and
deep theoretical reflection. Prayer, reading the Bible (not as an encyclopaedia
but as something more like a spiritual "laboratory notebook"),
listening to others and silence are all important.
